Elbow brace
Size chart:
To choose the correct size, measure the circumference 5 cm above the elbow joint and 3 cm below the elbow joint, bending the elbow at a 90° angle.
Indications for use:
Tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis)
This condition is characterized by pain and tenderness felt on the outer surface of the elbow joint, as well as pain during grip function, especially using the palm. It is common in people who do manual labor, but can also affect office workers who work with a computer mouse for a long time. The acupressure elbow joint orthosis can be used during sports, except in contact sports where direct impacts are possible (for example, boxing). The orthosis is also effective after sports activities, promoting the removal of lactic acid from the muscles and faster muscle recovery.
Golfer's Elbow (Medial Epicondylitis)
This condition is manifested by pain and tenderness on the inner surface of the elbow joint, as well as pain during the grip function when using the hand. It is most common in physical workers. The acupressure elbow joint orthosis can also be used during sports, except in contact sports, where direct impacts are possible (for example, boxing). The orthosis is also effective after sports activities, helping to improve the removal of lactic acid from the muscles and promoting faster muscle recovery.
Elbow joint arthrosis
This problem is related to aging processes or can occur as a consequence of an injury or fracture, which causes wear and tear of the joint cartilage and the appearance of pain.
Chondropathy of the elbow joint
The initial stage of damage to the articular cartilage, where the damage is superficial and affects the sliding surface. This is often the initial stage of the development of osteoarthritis.
Post-traumatic pain
This pain can be short-term (up to three months) or long-term, lasting a lifetime. Acupressure elbow orthoses are effective both during the rehabilitation period and afterwards, treating the effects of injuries.
Pain after elbow surgery
After surgery, the pain may not completely go away, and in some cases it may even increase. In the postoperative period, movement restrictions (contractures) often occur, the development of which may be difficult. Acupressure elbow orthoses are an effective tool for restoring the range of motion in the elbow joint and reducing the pain that was present before surgery.
